Buying a Nintendo Wii for young kids

Out of all the new video game consoles, the Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (and also the Nintendo DS / DS Lite), the Wii is the most ideal console for people wanting to buy a new fun console for young kids and children, as it allows people to most easily get into a game. Other games such as on the Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 almost all have a heavy emphasis on the video game story and so for young kids it may be hard to grasp the concept.

However the Wii is a completly new video game console type and it is fully aimed at being able to be used by the whole family - so young kids will have no trouble playing the Nintendo Wii
